TuneFest Dungarvan 2026
Founded by Donnchadh Gough and Valerie O’Gorman, TuneFest Dungarvan is a celebration of traditional Irish music, culture and community — bringing locals and visitors together for five days of unforgettable performances, sessions and live events.
Since its launch in 2019, the festival has grown into one of the most anticipated events on the summer calendar, transforming Dungarvan into a vibrant hub of music and atmosphere. From headline theatre concerts and intimate CD launches to packed pub sessions, workshops, busking and the open-air Gig Rig in Grattan Square, TuneFest showcases the very best of Irish traditional music.
“We’re proud to see TuneFest continue to grow each year,” says Donnchadh Gough. “It’s about bringing world-class traditional music to Dungarvan while keeping the heart and spirit of the tradition alive. Whether you’re performing, learning, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, there’s something here for everyone.”
